Easter 2013 Internships at Kings Chambers, Manchester, Leeds or Birmingham

Please see below if interested:

Do you really want to know what life at the Bar and at Kings is like? Our Internship Programme is designed to introduce aspirant barristers to life at the independent Bar and in chambers.

We offer approximately 20 intern places each year to those who have decided to practise at the Bar and are in their 2nd or 3rd year of undergraduate study for a law degree, or those undertaking a law conversion course. Places are also available for non law 2nd or 3rd year students who are determined to pursue a career at the Bar.

Interns will spend 3 days in chambers with a member of chambers. As an intern you will go to court, attend conferences and discuss paperwork with as many members of chambers as possible. You will also be invited to undertake a piece of written work which will be formally appraised.

The 3 day programme is intended to provide a short but fairly comprehensive introduction to what it is like to be a member of chambers.

Applicants wishing to apply for an internship in Easter Vacation 2013 should download and complete the application form available from    www.kingschambers.com

Please note that all applications must be made by email, using the application form.

Closing date for applications is 1st March 2013.
