Pupillage Gateway opens tomorrow (1 April 2015)

The Pupillage Gateway opens on 1 April at 11am so if you are starting the BPTC in September 2015 now is the time to start looking for a pupillage.  Some chambers recruit up to 18 months in advance so it is not too early to apply for pupillage for September 2016.
 
Applications close on 30 April at 11am. It will not be possible to submit applications after this time and extensions will not be granted.

Event for aspiring barristers

Calling all aspiring barristers out there!

Manchester Law School at Manchester Metropolitan University is holding a pupillage afternoon on Thursday 19 March from 4pm.

You will be able to find out more about life at the Bar and have the opportunity to take part in an advocacy session in the mock courtroom and meet staff members. You can also network with legal practitioners and get  tips and advice on applying for pupillage.

This event is a must for anyone applying for the BPTC.

Start the afternoon discussing your career in law and gain the confidence to excel throughout the recruitment process during the 'You're Hired!' session.

Session 2 - Includes a Commercial awareness challenge which will develop key employability skills to help set you apart!

The afternoon will then end with general information regarding the new GDL/LPC programmes, fees, scholarships and financing, making the application and you will be able to speak to tutors and students.

This is perfect preparation for training contract applications, vacation schemes and assessment days, so it is well worth attending.
